Journey to Hawaiki is an episodic campaign following adventurers from islands across the Ancient Pacific. The campaign is in a living world I’m developing. Each one-shot helps shape the world. Helping me build locations, NPCs, and the overall story. Eventually, this will be an expansion to Worlds Without Number called Journey of the Wayfinder. The setting is inspired by ancient Polynesian mythology.

The gods have begun interfering in the adventurers’ daily lives. Sending challenges their way, so they can select champions to send on a journey to their ancient homeland, Hawaiki. Hawaiki, which roughly translates to where our ancestors came from, is the mythical ancestral homeland of all Polynesians. It’s also the underworld or part of the heavens depending on the story.
